“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.” ~ 1 Timothy 4:12
Welcome to KidsLife at FBC!
We believe 1 Timothy 4:12 is an excellent source for a life well-lived for God! We believe the Bible is the ultimate guide for life, so we teach stories straight out of God’s Word in a warm, engaging atmosphere that invites kids to experience Him in powerful ways. We believe in providing lots of opportunities for building relationships with other believers of different life stages. But most importantly, we believe the ultimate spiritual influence in a child's life should be the parent with the church playing secondary to support families as they guide their children. Thank you for allowing us the privilege of being a part of this exciting time in your child’s spiritual development! ~ The KidsLife Staff

What We do
We understand that leaving a new baby or young child can be overwhelming for families. We want to put you at ease by providing a loving and secure environment for every child. We have a team of great volunteers that are dedicated to loving kids and making their experience a great one.
Toddler 2 (2 years)
Yellow Room (3 years & 4 years)
Red Room (4 years & 5 years)
Kindergarten begins with worshiping in the Kidslife Theater. They will then transition to their classroom with their teachers where we teach a Bible story and participate in fun, creative activities from the Tru curriculum that focus on one of these key truths. We believe in an active, hands-on approach with our kids, so be on the lookout for those fun projects!
1st - 4th Grade
Our 1st - 4th grade classes use Tru material and go through the entire bible in chronological order in a full year. Both Old and New Testament stories are presented with an explanation of how Jesus fits into each one. These grades start off in our KidsLife Theater to enjoy a large group environment that creatively presents a Bible story and allows them to worship really loud. But the bread and butter of Sunday mornings is our small group environment. We want kids to see how God's word fits into their lives, to learn how to talk to Him, and to build friendships with peers and adults that will last.
Once students arrive in 5th grade and 6th grade we have them worship with the other children and then transition to their own classroom for story time and small group. The Tru curriculum for this age offers more specific life application than the younger age groups as they prepare for middle school and the unique pressures of adolescence. 6th graders are also invited to attend Gravity (Youth Program) on Wednesday nights.
We are committed to providing a safe environment for all children. Our staff and volunteers undergo a background check and training for their designated areas. We maintain a safe environment by using our secure check-in system.
Secure Check-In System
At the Guest Check-In desk in the KidsLife Lobby, one of our Welcome Team members will take your information and print your child's name tag for the morning. This tag will have a security code unique to each child. Parents will receive receipt tags with matching codes to use when picking up their children. After check-in, our Welcome Team will give you a tour and answer any questions you may have before showing you how to drop-off and pick-up your children
Use our Self Check-In stations and make the check-in process even faster. Just go to one of the self-check kiosks in the KidsLife Lobby and type in your last name. The screen will show the children in your family. Choose which children you are checking in and the system will print out the name tags and parent receipts for each child.
If for some reason your child need you during the service, the last 3 digits of your security code will flash above the screen in the main auditorium. Come to the KidsLife Welcome Center and one of our staff will take you to your child.
Nursery through Kindergarten:
Register at any check in station and go to the appropriate drop-off desk between 10:05-10:15 AM. Check out from the same place at the close of the church service. Drop-off ends at 10:30
Register at the check in station, then go to the appropriate drop-off desk between 10:05-10:15 AM for worship. Children will transition with leaders to their classrooms after worship and then return to the Kidslife Theater where they will participate in closing activities until pick-up at the close of service.
Go to the drop-off/pick-up desk and present the corresponding receipt sticker to the worker(s). Your child(ren) will be brought out to you. You must be 16 years or older to pick up any child from KidsLife and have the correct sticker.
We want everyone to have a great experience at church!
To ensure the safety and well-being of our children and volunteers, we ask parents and guardians to respect the following health guidelines:
Children should be free of fever, vomiting and diarrhea without the use of medications for 24 hours before being checking into the classroom. Parents will be asked to pick up their child if he or she displays any of the following conditions:
- Temperature over 100 degrees
- Painful red throat, even if no fever is present
- Deep hacking cough
- Unexplained rash
- Thick green drainage from nose or discharge from eyes
- Unusual yellow coloring of skin or eyes
Thank you for working together to help us all remain as healthy as possible!
How to Register Your Child
It’s easy to register your child in the KidsLife program! Just pick up a family information form at the KidsLife Welcome Desk, fill it out, return it back to the Welcome Desk, and we will be happy to include your child in our system.
After you register, checking in your child is a snap! Just go to the self-check desk, select the children in your family who will attend classes that day and then print the name tags. You will receive a numbered tag for each child along with a family tag receipt to be presented when you pick your child up at the end of the service.
