Position Objective: To serve, assist, and lead out in family ministry through our Access ministry throughout the church, but primarily in Kidslife. This person will work with the Family Pastor. This person will strive to serve kids, students, and adults with disabilities as well as their families.  Additionally, to lead out, in a developmental capacity, the children and families of Fellowship Bible church. This role will work alongside the Kidslife Director to equip and influence children and families with the truth of the Gospel.

Position Description: To see the gospel and the Church made accessible to every person or family with disabilities.  To serve on the Family Ministry team and help lead the children and families of Fellowship Bible Church.

3. A commitment to the mission, vision, and values of Fellowship Bible Church.
4. The ability to work well with others on a team.
5. The ability to manage multiple projects with multiple deadlines. 
6. The ability to take existing systems and make them better.
7. A willingness to serve behind the scenes without receiving up-front praise.
8. A self-starter.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain an authentic and growing walk with Jesus Christ.*
2. Live out the vision and mission of Fellowship Bible Church in personal life.*
3. In Charge of the spiritual direction/health of a leadership team.*
4. In charge of disseminating the spiritual vision/mission of the church.*
5. Complete other tasks as assigned.

Access Ministry
Program Development & Accessibility

1. Evaluate church facilities for accessibility (physical, ASL, sensory, communication).
2. Ensure safety and best practices in all ministry environments.
3. Partner with ministry leaders to adapt programming.
4. Maintain policies that ensure dignity, safety, and excellence.
5. Develop appropriate accommodations for worship services, children’s ministry, student ministry, life groups, and other events in the church.

Community Partnerships

1. Use the adapted toy drive and the workshop as ways to reach out to the community.
2. Serve as a bridge between the church and the disability community.

Administration & Communication

1. Manage ministry budget and resources.
2. Communicate regularly with families regarding events, expectations, care, and updates.
3. Support and care for volunteers.

Kidslife Ministry

1. Fulfill the Fellowship Kids leader schedule weekly.
   1. Updating and maintaining a master schedule weekly.
2. Coordinate and staff all Fellowship childcare events.
3. Be on-call for last minute sign-ups and needs for childcare events as well as weekend services.
4. Assist in onboard training all new volunteer leaders.
