Executive Pastor

Fellowship Bible Church is looking for an Executive Pastor who believes in the vision of our church and can lead our church in its calling to point every person we can to the good news of God’s grace in the finished work of Christ. This individual will be in charge of leading a young, dynamic staff team to thrive in the roles to which God has called them as well as executing on church-wide projects that will allow our church to point more people to Christ.

The Executive Pastor at Fellowship is an executive-level leadership role within a growing, spiritually healthy church. The Executive Pastor will serve as the chief of staff, equipping the Leadership Team to achieve their roles with excellence and ensuring that the staff team is operating excellently to the glory of God. This role will also ensure that priority initiatives from the Elder Team and the Directional Lead Pastor are brought to completion.

Responsibilities Include:

  1. Supervise and Direct the Lead Team of Fellowship
  2. Serve as the key advisor to the Lead Team and the Directional Lead Pastor for staff excellence.
  3. Oversee the completion of the Elder Team’s annual priority list.
  4. In collaboration with the HR Director, oversee the personnel systems of Fellowship.
  5. Lead the assimilation team ensuring that first-time attenders become fully engaged members of Fellowship.
  6. Lead Fellowship’s residency program, ensuring that residents are personally and professionally enriched. 
  7. Incubate new ministry teams so that Fellowship can achieve its mission and vision as effectively as possible.
  8. Serve as project manager for significant long-range, church-wide projects as assigned by the Directional Lead Pastor.

This will be a salaried position and will include benefits such as retirement matching, health insurance, and PTO.
