Growth Associate

Position Objective: The Growth Associate will serve with the Growth Director to oversee Life Groups, the men’s discipleship groups (if applicable), while being the staff representative on the Men's Ministry Team (if applicable). The Growth Associate will serve with the Growth Director to see members of Fellowship Bible Church grow in their love of the Gospel as Fellowship continues to grow as a church. He/she will help create and cultivate smaller, more intimate groups of growth so that more people in more places can experience life-changing communities throughout SWMO.

The Growth Associate will provide care for existing Life Groups and pioneer new Life Groups alongside the Growth Director by recruiting, and equipping future leaders. The Growth Associate will provide oversight on key events for the Growth Department.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain an authentic and growing walk with Jesus Christ.
- *Live out the vision and mission of Fellowship Bible Church in personal life.
- *Serve with the Life Group ministry. This will include onboarding new Life Group Leaders, ensuring the health and equipping of present Life Group Leaders, and connecting those who want to take a step into Life Groups with the right Life Group fit.
- Develop excellent Life Group Notes for our Leaders to follow and use.
- Help to create and oversee systems for onboarding and multiplying new Life Groups (ex: training/equipping, website logistics, LG orientation) to see more healthy Life Groups launched throughout our area (including college Life Groups).
- *Serve as the Growth Department’s Assimilation point person in collaboration with the Care and Connections Associate.
- Conduct next step calls for Life Groups and Discipleship Groups, and anyone wanting to know more about spiritual growth opportunities at Fellowship Bible Church.
- Communicate and care for Life Group leaders to make sure they are shepherding their group with excellence.
- *Serve on Men’s Team (if applicable)
- Work with the Department Directors to plan, execute the annual Fellowship Men’s Conference.
- Oversee men’s discipleship groups (if applicable).
- Refine a system of care for existing discipleship group leaders.
- Recruit and onboard new potential discipleship group leaders.
- Work with the Care and Connections Associate to connect men to other men through discipleship relationships.
- Organize, facilitate, and equip other men to lead bible studies.
- Plan and execute a regular rhythm of community events to better engage with the unengaged men of our area (i.e., men’s breakfast).
- Provide oversight on planning Growth Department events such as: Abide, Released Leadership Conference, and Men’s Conference, etc.
- Provide leadership to various church-wide initiatives as assigned by the Directional Lead Pastor.
- Complete other tasks as assigned.
