About Rally Manhood

At Fellowship, we truly believe that the core of a healthy community and church are men who step into the calling of being biblical men. But, we cannot achieve something we cannot define. This resource is designed to both define what being a biblical man means, as well as how we can practically apply biblical manhood to our families, communities, and vocations for God's glory and our good.

What you will find in this resource is an 8-week PDF booklet with corresponding audio files from different members of the Men's Leadership Team at our most recent in-person sessions. A biblical man Rejects Passivity, Accepts Responsibility, Leads Courageously, Loves Sacrificially, and Yields to God's Word. Welcome to RALLY Manhood. Our prayer is that this material equips and empowers you to grow into being a more biblical man, both for God's glory and your good.

Content Sessions

Session 1 - Biblical Manhood

You cannot strive towards something you can't define. In Session 1, you will tackle some of the big overarching questions related to being a biblical man as a foundation for our manhood definition.

Session 2 - God's Purpose for Men

In Session 2, you will break down how you can fulfill God's purpose for men: to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. You will also see our biblical manhood definition for the first time and see how the Gospel is the foundation of your manhood.

Session 3 - Reject Passivity

In Session 3, you will begin breaking down the first letter of our RALLY acronym definition: Reject passivity. You will be given a clear definition of what that means, as well as many practical insights and applications that are rooted in Scripture.

Session 4 - Accept Responsibility

In Session 4, you will begin to wrestle with the question: what is God asking me to be responsible for? You will look at biblical examples of accepting responsibility, and you will be given practical examples of how to accept responsibility in your spheres of influence.

Session 5 - Lead Courageously

Leadership is influence, and every person has influence with at least one person. In Session 5, you will learn what it looks like to use the influence God has graced us with to point other people to the goodness of Jesus.

Session 6 - Love Sacrificially

At the core of the Gospel of Jesus is sacrificial love. In Session 6, you will begin to assess how loving others sacrificially is integral to your pursuit of being a biblical man.

Session 7 - Yield to God's Word

In Session 7, we finish our RALLY manhood acronym by yielding to God's Word. You will be pointed to the sufficiency of God's Word, and be given practical examples of what it looks like to yield to God's Word above all else.

Session 8 - RALLY-ing Around Manhood

You are rounding third and heading home! Session 8 recaps our RALLY acronym and answers the question: what now? You will be given very practical resources and exhortations of how to continue growing in biblical manhood beyond this study.
