VBS Elementary
1st-6th Graders (2023/24 school year) join us for four evenings (June 5-8) of music, games, crafts, and lessons that point us to the life-changing truth of Jesus and the gospel. Dinner is provided.
VBS Junior
3 years - Kindergarten (2023/24 school year) join us for three mornings of music, games, crafts, snacks, and lessons that point us to the life-changing truth of Jesus and the gospel.

Volunteer With Us

We have multiple ways for you to volunteer at VBS. Take a look at the options below! 

Craft Team

Our imaginations are a great tool that God has given us! Let's use them with our craft stations! This team will meet the week before VBS to set up craft stations for the kids to make throughout VBS.

Decor Team

Join the team that makes Fellowship look out of this world during the week of VBS! This team will meet before VBS as well as the weekend before for event set up. 

Elementary / Pre-k Crew Leader

Are you ready to help equip and mold young minds with the power and truth of the Gospel? Then you're ready to be a Crew Leader! Help answer kids' questions, guide them to their stations, and be their general go-to person during VBS / VBS Jr. 

Meal Team

Each night at VBS we provide all of our attendees with a meal together as a Crew. This team will help nourish young stomachs and minds to learn about Jesus. As a part of this team, you'll meet together to help prep food for the kiddos and assist with meal hand out as they come through in their shifts. 

Nursery Childcare

We want to open the door for as many volunteers to participate as possible! In order to do that, we will have a small classroom for childcare available for those with babies and toddlers who aren't quite ready to attend a VBS session just yet. We'd love to have some smiling and kind faces for them to interact with and love on during the sessions. 

Recreation Team

This is the one stop on the rotation list that kids will make during their evening activities. Rec is a great opportunity to help the kids get their wiggles out, have some fun, and enjoy the ways that God has made our bodies to move and to play. 

Registration

Would you love to make parents and kids feel welcome when they arrive to VBS/VBS Junior? Then this could be a place for you! Registration will begin at 5:30pm each night of VBS and 9:30am at VBS Jr. and will close shortly after the first session. We'd love for you to be the friendly faces that our VBS attendees get to see! 

Worship/Skit Team

Do you have the ability to keep friends engaged in joyful celebration? Then we'd love for you to join us as a part of our Worship and Skit Team. We need volunteers to serve at VBS, VBS Jr., or both! This team will meet before VBS and VBS Junior for rehearsal to choreograph motions to our worship songs and includes performances throughout the week of VBS and VBS Junior.

  • When is VBS Elementary & VBS Junior?
    • VBS Elementary, June 5th-8th.
    • VBS Junior, June 19th-21st.
  • How much does VBS cost?
    • VBS Elementary & VBS Jr. are both free to every child.
  • Are meals provided?
    • Dinner is provided every evening for VBS Elementary. 
    • There are no meals provided for VBS Junior, but snacks will be provided during their time here.
  • Will there be water games? 
    • There will be water games for VBS Elementary on Thursday, but they won't need to bring a change of clothes.
  • Where is VBS located?
    • Fellowship Bible Church, 4855 S Farm Rd 205 Rogersville, MO 65742
  • Can I register my child if I don't attend Fellowship?
    • Yes! We would love for you to join us.
  • What should my child wear? 
    • Athletic clothes and sneakers are encouraged.
  • What if my child is nervous about participating?
    • We encourage participation from all of our kiddos, but all volunteers will strive to make all kids feel safe and welcome.
  • Should I send a Bible with my child?
    • You can if you would like, but all kiddos will be provided with a Bible to use during VBS.
  • How old do I need to be to volunteer?
    • The minimum age requirement to volunteer is 13 years old for both VBS Elementary and VBS Junior.
  • What if my child needs special assistance?
    • Our team is available to help any child who needs special assistance. Please contact kidslife@fbclife.org to discuss accommodations to be made for your child.
  • What if my child has allergies or medical concerns? 
    • If your child has allergies or any medical concerns, please indicate the type in the "Allergies" or "Medical Concerns" box during registration.
