Why Worship
Our goal with this series is to cast vision to our hearts for why we do what we do. Why we commit most of our weekends to show up to church and lead nearly a couple thousand people in singing, praying, and reading God's word. Why we commit multiple hours a week to learning and practicing four songs so we can show up prepared and lead without distraction. Why we step on stage and lead our church during some of the toughest seasons of our lives.
We do it as response, together, when it's hard, and because it's pleasing to our God! What a gift of grace it is to stand shoulder to shoulder with brothers and sisters in Christ and worship Him as we tune our hearts to know and love Him more!
This is a collection of writings from our Worship Department and we pray that they bless you, encourage you to continue leaning in and boldly leading our church in worship, and most importantly remind your heart of your first love, Jesus Christ.

To my mom’s displeasure, I blasted their CDs all throughout the house and anytime we were in the car together I begged her t...
Why Worship: As Response

Worship is our humble, constant, appropriate, glad response to God's self-revelation and his enabling invitation.- Bob Kauflin (Worship Matters)I grew up in the church.
