Worship Resident

Position Objective: The Worship Resident will work closely with the Worship Associate and the Worship Director to provide excellent worship experiences for every venue of Fellowship. They will assist in planning worship sets and scheduling volunteers, as well as Worship Ministry events such as “team nights”. The Worship Resident will have opportunities to lead specific services at Fellowship Students, Fellowship College, Fellowship Kids, Re: Generation, Weekend Gatherings, and assist in growing the teams that serve in those venues. The Worship Resident will support the Worship Associate and Worship Director with day-to-day tasks and duties as assigned.

The Worship Resident will be available to lead worship for weddings and funerals as needed. The Worship Resident will lead worship in KidsLife 1-2 times a month or as needed. The Worship Resident will support the Worship Associate and Worship Director in all areas of the Worship Ministry. The Worship Associate will regularly meet and encourage members of the Worship Team.

- Commitment to moral purity.
- Commitment to the mission, vision, and values of Fellowship Bible Church.
- Demonstrate excellence as a spiritual leader.
- Proper understanding of worship leading and the elements of worship.
- Skilled in interpersonal relationships and building teams.
- Skilled in the use of technology associated with leading worship.
- A self-starter who is able and willing to meet deadlines.
- Able to help create a yearly budget.
- Able to display a healthy philosophy and theology of worship.
- Understanding of a basic liturgy of worship (Regulative Principle).
- Adequate ability with guitar and/or piano.

- Serve as a member of the creative team as needed.
- Assist Worship Associate and Worship Director in the oversight of Worship volunteers.
- Recruit, train, schedule, and coordinate volunteer teams in the Worship Ministry.
- Available for most Saturday night and Sunday morning worship services.
- Continue to practice and grow in worship leadership.
- Upkeep green room cleanliness and coffee, snacks, and team meals.
- Help the Worship Associate implement special events such as “team nights”.
- Complete weekly maintainers for Sunday gatherings, such as Planning Center volunteer scheduling.
- Regularly meet and encourage members of the Worship Team in their faith.
